Main Responsibilities

The Process Engineer carries out the industrialization of products in Ulricehamn according to standards and specifications, in line with targets for quality, cost, and delivery.

The tasks include:

• Participating in design reviews to ensure product manufacturability
• Leading the industrialization and performing tasks defined in the project quality plan based on applicable standards (overall responsibility for manufacturing, process FMEA, control plan, specifications, trial run, process validation, etc.)
• Ensuring industrialization planning, the allocated budget, and that the process design aligns with specifications; this is done in collaboration with the project manager and/or the Product Lines industrialization team
• Participating in technical meetings and project reviews
• Completing the product’s process FMEA
• Leading action plans for process development and validating technical decisions
• Being responsible for establishing the technical data for the process
• Actively participating in reviews of design and supplier selection for production equipment. Monitoring execution and validating their approval.

Education and Experience

A suitable technical education in engineering, production, or development, along with relevant work experience, or equivalent professional experience within the manufacturing industry.

Meritorious:

• SAP
• LEAN background
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP
• Automation/Robotics
• Technical drawing knowledge
