At Forenede Care, we are looking for a nurse assistant or care aide who wants to work as a casual employee at Månstorps Ängar, Sweden's first dementia village.

In the role of nurse assistant or care aide at Forenede Care, you will provide excellent care, service, and support to our residents. Forenede Care operates Månstorps Ängar on behalf of Vellinge Municipality. The care and nursing facility has a total of 56 beds, distributed across four units. The facility offers apartments for elderly people with cognitive impairment.

At Månstorps Ängar, we have large gardens for easy access to outdoor activities, as well as ample space for communal activities and socializing. We also feature a retro shop, a salon, a sensory room, and more.

Månstorps Ängar is strategically located with short distances to both the train station and bus stop. For those who drive, there is free parking right across the street.

In the role of nurse assistant, you provide care and support based on the client's wishes, in accordance with care decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. Your tasks include assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and providing social interaction. Social interaction is a crucial part of our work, ensuring that all our residents can live life to the fullest, for life. This can range from conversation, playing games, going on excursions, cycling, or engaging in fun activities together. You will also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and exercise training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues to join us as casual employees. The position can be filled immediately.

To be considered for this role, you need:

• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Previous experience in elderly care and dementia care is considered an asset.

To thrive in this role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings. You are skilled at building good relationships and are service-oriented. Since we work both in teams and independently, it is important that you feel comfortable in such an environment.

Before we offer employment, you must provide an unopened extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
