Now, as a Corporal or Sergeant, you have a unique opportunity to take on one of the unit's most dynamic and prestigious support roles. As an Adjutant, you become the hub of your commander's daily life. Your mission is clear: to ensure with military precision that logistics, administration, and service around the leadership function flawlessly in operations both nationally and internationally.

Here you get a unique insight into how military leadership works in practice, while operating in an environment characterized by high tempo and absolute professionalism.

Your main responsibilities:

Master of Calendar: You own the commander's schedule. You plan, book, and optimize meetings and ensure that timeframes are kept to the letter. You will book meetings across different time zones. You handle daily email and phone contact, often with international contacts.

Logistical Expertise: You plan and coordinate travel, transport, and accommodation - often with short notice and high demands for flexibility.

First Impression: You receive VIP guests, prepare meeting rooms, and handle the daily practical service around the leadership. You adapt your communication style depending on whether the recipient prefers direct answers or a more relationship-focused approach.

Frontline at Ceremonies: You assist at ceremonies, official visits, and representation by maintaining order regarding the practical protocol on site.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role, you are a person who loves order, structure, and staying one step ahead. You thrive on providing world-class service without needing to stand in the spotlight yourself.

  • Military Rank: You are a Corporal (OR4) or Sergeant (OR5).
  • Requirements: Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. B-driver's license (manual transmission).
  • Super Organizer: You have a firm grasp of digital planning tools and love it when a plan clicks into place.
  • Personality: You are extremely punctual, discreet, and have high personal integrity. You remain calm and solution-oriented even when plans change at the last minute. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.

The Army Combat School is an army-common school for the development, education, and training of the army's combat units. The Army Combat School educates officers and specialist officers, plans and conducts exercises, and trains combat units in advanced combat training facilities.

In close cooperation with the Army Staff and other units, the Army Combat School develops type units, capabilities, methods, and materiel. Within the framework of the Swedish Armed Forces' growth, the Army Combat School plays an important role in the ongoing modernization of the army.

Swedish citizenship is usually required. Security screening with register control will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed. The employment also includes an obligation to serve abroad.

The meaning of this varies depending on the type of position. Each permanent position begins with a 6-month probationary period, provided you are not already employed by the Swedish Armed Forces.
