We are proud of Trollhättan Municipality's over 5,000 employees, who make a positive difference in the lives of our residents every day and contribute to developing the city's sustainability and vitality. We are driven and motivated by our core values: Courage, Participation, Innovation, and Action. Here, there is exciting development where you can help make our city even better.

About the Role

We are a support function within the home care organization that handles unplanned interventions and serves as flexible support for our regular home care teams.

Our mission is to relieve pressure by responding to alarms and emergency interventions, allowing other home care groups to focus on their scheduled visits and create continuity for our clients.

In addition to unplanned interventions, we are also responsible for welfare technology within home care, such as the installation, troubleshooting, and follow-up of technical solutions in homes.

We are in the midst of an exciting development where we work together to create cutting-edge operations with a focus on high quality. Do you want to help shape the future of care and support in Trollhättan? Then we hope you want to become part of us!

The Assignment

Working at the unit for unplanned interventions is varied, with no two days being alike. The role involves visiting our care recipients who have called for help via their safety alarms. The alarms come in digitally via an app, after which we prioritize them based on need. After each alarm, we report and document the intervention.

Another important part of our work is catching unforeseen events within the operation. When situations arise where the planning for regular home care groups falls short – we are there as support. This may involve taking over scheduled visits or stepping in where the need is greatest.

Working hours are day/evening, both weekdays and every other weekend. The distribution of shifts is approximately 50% day and 50% evening, though this may vary slightly.

Those who work at the unit for unplanned interventions are assistant nurses, care assistants, and coordinators. Here, you are offered meaningful work where you have the opportunity to develop your skills, and we learn a lot from each other. As an employer, we encourage an active leisure time, so as an employee of Trollhättan Municipality, you receive a wellness allowance and favorable gym memberships at several different fitness facilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse (undersköterska). If you have work experience in similar roles or home care, this is considered an advantage. Since you will be working across the entire city of Trollhättan, it is an advantage if you have good geographical knowledge or feel confident navigating with the help of GPS.

You should also have good habit and willingness to work on delegation. Since documentation is an important task, you must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. The position requires good computer skills and experience working in various administrative systems. A B-class driver's license for manual transmission is also a requirement.

Furthermore, we see that you are engaged in your assignment, flexible, and willing to contribute to the development of the operation. This is important as we are in a period where much is happening within the organization.

To succeed and thrive in the role, you are self-assured and can act independently. When the pace is high, you have the ability to remain calm, structured, and have good prioritization skills. It is an advantage if you have an interest in technology and are curious about development using welfare technology. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
