Service Description

Short-term and alternating residence Tallbacken is centrally located and offers care, daily rehabilitation, and security for a limited period. Many of our users come directly from hospital stays, and our goal is to strengthen their ability to manage their daily lives and enable a secure return to their own homes.

We also care for people in palliative care who are waiting for a place in specialized housing. Our operations are characterized by care, commitment, and a strong focus on the individual.

As a nursing assistant here, you play an important role in creating security, participation, and quality of life for our users. Through a person-centered approach, you see the individual behind the need and contribute with care, respect, and commitment in every interaction.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you will make a difference for our users. At the short-term residence, you are offered varied work with nursing care as well as delegated health and medical care tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff.

Documentation according to current legislation is also an important part of the work.

Here you also have the opportunity to take responsibility for various representative roles and develop in your professional role. Working hours are scheduled for day/evening, both weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant with good care experience. If you have experience and/or further education in dementia or palliative care, it is considered an advantage. It is also positive if you have previously worked in short-term/alternating residence.

The work includes regularly more advanced tasks performed on delegation, such as tracheostomy care and nasogastric tube care. Therefore, you need to be prepared to take on these tasks after completing the necessary training.

Since the work involves a lot of documentation and many contacts with colleagues, users, and relatives, good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. Additional language skills are positive as our users often have a linguistic background other than Swedish. You feel confident using computers and various IT programs in your daily work.

As a person, you are confident in your professional role and meet every individual with respect, understanding, and empathy. Since the short-term service is dynamic, you need to be flexible and able to handle a varying pace while maintaining quality. You take initiative, work independently when needed, and thrive in close collaboration with your colleagues. We also value your positive attitude and your contribution to a good and pleasant work environment. Personal suitability is given great weight.

- To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must present a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Please attach this to your application.

- You must also be able to present a valid extract from the criminal record register.
