Welcome to us at S:t Erik Care and Residential Home
S:t Erik Care and Residential Home is located a 10-minute walk from Fridhemsplan on Kungsholmen and provides care and support primarily to people over 65 years old. The residents at S:t Erik have varied medical needs.
Kungsholmen is one of Stockholm City's four academic nodes that conduct evidence-based care and support, with the ambition that research should be an integrated part of daily work.

S:t Erik is a friendly workplace with a total of 30 dementia beds distributed across 4 wards. The residence has a cozy courtyard to enjoy during the summer months. Below S:t Erik, you will find Kungsholmen Strand with its walking path.
Your role as Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you are a central key person on the ward – a true spider in the web who ensures the operation runs smoothly in daily work. You are part of the team and simultaneously support your colleagues in patient care, contributing with structure, planning, and follow-up. As a Team Leader, you work as a nursing assistant on a rotating schedule, working every other weekend. In addition to your work as a nursing assistant, you take overall responsibility for the ward and ensure all pieces are in place.
In the role of Team Leader, you work with:
- ensuring that information from the rest of the operation reaches all employees on the ward
- supporting your colleagues in daily work
- having an overview of the ward's work, such as documentation, supplies, and food
- following up, reporting, and collaborating with other team leaders and the unit manager
Your skills and experience
We are looking for you who:
- have the protected professional title of nursing assistant (undersköterska)
- have a few years of experience in elder care
- have experience working as a team leader/group leader
- have good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
It is an advantage if you have:
- studied to become a specialist nursing assistant
- Experience with Parasol, TES safety alarms, digital signing of medication
- worked with staffing
As a person, you have good ability to collaborate, communicate, and promote a good work environment.

To work with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes for Stockholm City, you must show an extract from the criminal record register. The extract must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
The Department of Elder Care is responsible for assistance case management and various interventions that allow the elderly to have their care needs met. Here you will find care and residential homes, service houses, support for relatives, day activities, and home help services. The administration applies full-time as the norm, and you will be employed within Kungsholmen Elder Care.
