Are you a qualified assistant nurse and interested in taking a temporary position for 3–6 months? Nacka Senior Center is looking for dedicated assistant nurses who want to ensure safe and person-centered care for our residents. We offer a workplace where you can use your skills and develop in your professional role.

Your Role

Nacka Senior Center consists of four residential facilities located in Finntorp, Ektorp, Saltsjöbaden, and Saltsjö-Boo. Each facility has both somatic and dementia-oriented wards, social activities, day care programs, and own kitchens with meals prepared from scratch. Read more about our facilities here (#).

As a temporary staff member, you work based on the residents' individual needs and are responsible for, among other things, nursing care, hygiene, responding to alarms, and documentation. Working hours include day, evening, and weekend shifts (07:00–21:00) as well as night shifts (21:00–07:00).

Requirements for the Position

• Professional certificate or complete qualifications as an assistant nurse
• Experience in elderly care
• Documentation experience
• Must be at least 18 years old

Experience and knowledge in:

• Previous delegation for tube feeding, insulin, and medication
• Conducting independent nursing assessments
• Dementia diseases and patient interaction
• Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional competence, takes responsibility, and is used to working independently. You have good teamwork skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to meet residents with empathy, sensitivity, and respect. The work involves lifting and moving, which requires good physical fitness. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

What We Offer

As a temporary staff member, you are employed by Stab Competence Recruitment within Nacka Municipality, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of care staff during short-term absences and monthly temporary assignments. As a temporary staff member, you will work at one or more of our facilities depending on how much you wish to work during the summer.
