Description of the operations

Vallagården is a care and support residence with a dementia focus, located centrally in Handen. Here we offer a safe and harmonious environment close to nature, inviting walks and outdoor activities.

All our care and support residences are Silvia-certified, meaning that the majority of the staff has training in person-centered dementia care according to Silviahemmet's care philosophy. We are proud of this, and it creates a strong foundation for safe and high-quality care.

Your role

Your role will involve close collaboration with both colleagues and residents. As a Nursing Assistant at Vallagården's care and support residence, you will play a central role in ensuring a safe and meaningful existence.

Your work will include a number of responsibilities, such as:

• Providing support and assistance in daily activities, including personal care and hygiene
• Working together with other care staff to create a safe and stimulating environment
• Participating in rehabilitative measures and activities that promote physical and mental well-being
• Documenting and following up on individual care plans and guidelines
• Contributing to the development and improvement of operations by sharing your ideas and insights
• You will work on a schedule including day/evening shifts and every other weekend

What we are looking for in you:

• Trained nursing assistant with a certificate of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Meritorious if you have completed the basic training in Silviahemmet's care philosophy

You are confident in your professional role, and we see that you have previous experience working within care and support. Communication and documentation are important parts of the job, so you must have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

We apply language testing in the recruitment process.

Probationary employment may be applied for, and an extract from the criminal record register must be presented before employment can take place.
