About the role As a Business Developer at dormakaba, you work strategically and long-term to identify and develop new business opportunities. The role is characterized by a strong focus on relationship building, market presence, and positioning dormakaba early in construction and development projects. You work in a consulting capacity in close dialogue with contractors, consultants, architects, and public actors, where your technical understanding and business acumen help influence solution choices already in the early stages of projects.

The work involves establishing and developing relationships with key industry players while identifying and driving business opportunities within areas such as healthcare, data centers, and airports. You are active in networks, industry forums, and trade fairs, contributing to strengthening dormakaba's market presence. In this role, you collaborate closely with internal functions such as product, project management, and other specialist roles, driving business from early stages through to implementation, sometimes independently and sometimes together with partners.

We are looking for you To succeed in the role, you have experience working in or towards construction and contracting projects, for example as a project manager, technical specialist, consultant, or advisor. You are accustomed to working long-term and systematically in complex project environments and have a good understanding of technical solutions within areas such as electricity, automation, or related fields.

We would appreciate if you have:

• Experience with procurement or work towards public operations (meritorious)
• Very good skills in Swedish and English
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

As a person, you are self-motivated, proactive, and confident in working independently. You are curious and have a strategic approach, with a strong ability to build long-term relationships and create trust over time. You thrive in a consulting role where the work often takes place in early and sometimes ambiguous stages, where patience, structure, and collaboration are crucial for success.

• Location: Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö (possibility of hybrid work)
• Scope: Full-time, permanent with an initial probationary period
• Working hours: Monday–Friday
• Salary: According to collective agreement
