About the job

As a nursing assistant (undersköterska) here, it is important to work together and create cross-professional teams, where each profession contributes its specific knowledge. As a person, you are accommodating and sensitive to those you collaborate with, and you have the ability to create trust, engagement, and security.

You, together with other nursing assistants and nurses, are responsible for approximately 6 patients. We have a structured way of working and strive for common goals. A good work climate is important to us, and we create this through care for each other and the patients we care for.

Here, it is important that you as a nursing assistant are given the opportunity to develop in your profession through both internal and external training.

We are now offering two permanent positions where the work is scheduled during days and evenings, and 2/5 weekends. The degree of employment can be discussed. We also have two internships of 6 months each, with the possibility of extension. One internship has working hours during day/evening/weekend, and the other is a night internship including weekends.

About the workplace

We have 20 care beds, and here we treat patients with acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Four of our care beds are cardiac intensive care units (HIA), where patients who need a higher staff density and specific medical and nursing interventions are treated.

We have a day care unit where we perform electrical cardioversion, pacemaker surgeries, and PCI procedures, and we have close cooperation with our nurse-led clinics.

About you

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant. Previous experience in emergency care/medicine is meritorious but not a requirement.

We would prefer that you have studied:

• Emergency care/health care, 200 credits
• Medicine 2, 100 credits

As a person, you are ambitious, professional in your role, and have a strong patient focus. Since we work together with other professions, good collaboration skills are very important. You are a person with a positive attitude, flexible, and able to prioritize. A trait we value highly is good treatment and the ability to adapt your treatment to different situations. You will actively and regularly propose improvements and contribute to a good work climate at the workplace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
