The role of School Nurse with us

As a School Nurse with us, you will primarily work with preventive student health care through health conversations and health examinations according to the school health care's basic program for grades F-6. You will be part of the student health team, working proactively and health-promoting to ensure all students reach the educational goals and to promote school attendance at various levels. We also actively work to promote equal treatment and good physical and mental student health.

In your work, you will collaborate closely with the student health team as well as the school staff, and together with them, you will drive and develop health work at the school. Our starting point is to work for the student's best interest based on their needs.

Your profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and sensitive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current working relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, deliver results, and prioritize your work efficiently. You see opportunities in change, take initiative, and bring new approaches to work-related issues. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• are a registered nurse with one of the specialist educations: district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse.

It is meritorious if you have previous experience working as a school nurse.

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent part-time position, 80%, starting September 10th or as agreed.
