Job Responsibilities

In the Neurorehab team, your and your colleagues' specific and combined competencies ensure that patients receive good and equitable care. Your tasks will involve conducting assessments, mapping, treatment, planning, and developing rehabilitation plans in close collaboration with the patient, their network, and other team members. You will also lead group education. As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with the assessment and treatment of hand function, brain fatigue, and cognition in patients with neurological injuries or diseases. About the Workplace

At Neurorehab, you will meet a cheerful and engaged team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and speech therapists. We are a team-based operation within Halland Primary Care, located at Vallås Health Centre. We work with assessment and rehabilitation for neurological injuries or diseases. Common diagnostic groups include stroke, MS, Parkinson's, etc. The role also includes rehabilitation of post-COVID patients.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist with an interest in working with neurological rehabilitation. Previous experience working within neurorehabilitation is meritorious.

As a person, you enjoy and are accustomed to working both independently and in a team. You adapt easily, see opportunities in changes, and feel secure and independent in your professional role. You are skilled at organizing and prioritizing your work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
