Independent key role close to business operations - no personnel responsibility

Do you want a central role where you truly make a difference – and where you work close to operations, decisions, and the business? Montex AB is now looking for an engaged and self-reliant accountant/controller who wants to take overall responsibility for the economy in a growing company.

About the role
This is an independent specialist role without personnel responsibility, where you are solely responsible for the economic function at Montex AB. You are given broad authority and become an important part of the operations by working closely with the CEO as well as the purchasing and sales functions.
You are expected to take ownership of the entire economic process and contribute with analysis, structure, and business support.

Your main responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up
• Analysis of profitability, costs, and key figures
• Responsibility for tax and fee reporting
• Reporting to the CEO and the group
• Liquidity planning
• Development and efficiency improvement of economic processes
• Support to operations in business decisions
• Some administration related to HR, payroll, and environment

We are looking for you who

• Have post-secondary education in economics
• Have a few years of experience as an accountant or controller
• Thrives in an independent role with overall responsibility
• Are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented
• Have good system proficiency and very good knowledge of Excel
• Communicate fluently in Swedish

You are a person who likes to have control, sees opportunities for improvement, and wants to work close to operations – not just with the numbers, but also with the business behind them.

Merits

• Experience with Monitor G5 or similar business systems
• Experience with group reporting
• Knowledge in both accounting and controlling
