Adecco's client, Olink Proteomics in Uppsala, is now seeking Clinical Sample Analysis Specialists for a consultancy assignment starting September 1st. This assignment is perfect for you who want to work in an advanced laboratory environment where quality, precision, and international collaboration are in focus.

About the Assignment

You will work within the Analysis Services department, where the team is responsible for analyzing customer samples using Olink's products in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP). The operations support customers globally and deliver high-quality analytical data – from experimental preparation to final data delivery.

In this role, you will primarily work with sample analysis in NGS laboratories, contributing to ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analyses according to established methods and quality requirements
  • Handle, analyze, and process laboratory samples in both small and large batches
  • Document work and results according to quality management systems
  • Work independently as well as in close collaboration with colleagues and cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to quality controls and ensure data quality
  • Troubleshoot and handle deviations together with senior colleagues
  • Ensure the laboratory's order, functionality, and operations
  • Work with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment

The assignment is a consultancy role starting on September 1, 2026, and running until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The work is full-time and takes place on-site in Uppsala. As a consultant, you will be employed by Adecco Sweden.

About You

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, quality-conscious, and thrives in a practical laboratory role with high demands for precision.

We see that you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in biotechnology, molecular biology, or a similar field
  • At least 2 years of experience in laboratory work, preferably linked to customer deliveries and time-critical workflows
  • Experience with pipetting, including small volumes (≤10 µl) and multichannel pipetting
  • Basic understanding of GCP and laboratory quality systems
  • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed

Meritorious Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated pipetting systems or robots
  • Experience with LIMS or similar systems
  • Previous work within NGS workflows
  • You are a structured and solution-oriented person who thrives with both independent work and collaboration. You are communicative, flexible, and have a strong commitment to quality in everything you do.
