About Restaurant Stålhamra

Restaurant Stålhamra is one of 13 staff restaurants for Scania, with 11 located in Södertälje. Here, we serve breakfast and lunch daily to approximately 250 guests using our highly regarded Marketplace concept.

Our offering includes a varied lunch buffet with at least two traditional Swedish dishes, a vegetarian option, a generous salad bar, and an à la carte dish. We focus on quality, sustainability, and seasonal ingredients to provide our guests with a great dining experience every day.

You will become part of an engaged team of five colleagues, reporting to the Head Chef. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays (excluding public holidays), but weekend work may occur during special events and assignments.

About the Role

We are now looking for a passionate chef who wants to help create world-class dining experiences. At our restaurant, you will work in a team where collaboration, quality, and service are at the forefront. With creativity, professional pride, and a genuine interest in cooking, you will contribute to developing our offerings and providing our guests with a positive experience every day.

The role includes, among other things:

• Preparation and presentation of daily meals
• Preparation of the daily à la carte dish
• Work according to self-control programs and food safety standards
• Handling of allergens and special diets
• Ordering, receiving, and controlling goods
• Active work on waste reduction and sustainability
• Inventory and stock management
• Guest contact and some cash handling when needed

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained chef or has equivalent experience
• Has experience from restaurant or large-scale kitchen operations
• Has good planning and organizational skills
• Thrives working both independently and in a team
• Has a high focus on quality and service
• Is positive, responsible, and solution-oriented
• Has a natural safety mindset in everything you do
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
• Has basic knowledge of English
