Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse at Stadsskogen Elderly Care Home, you work from a salutogenic approach, where the focus is on the user's own resources, abilities, and opportunities. The work is based on the individual's needs and wishes and is adjusted continuously, as needs may vary from day to day.

In the role of assistant nurse, you are responsible for contributing to good and safe care in accordance with current guidelines and legislation. You provide professional nursing care through support, assistance, and service that promotes security, participation, and quality of life for each user. Health and medical care tasks are performed on delegation according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), with care and a sense of responsibility.

You are a present and significant person in the user's daily life and contribute to social interaction and enable meaningful and individually adapted activities. The work includes participating in welcome conversations and creating, following up, and documenting implementation plans in the operation's digital systems, with the aim of ensuring quality and continuity in care.

Furthermore, you actively participate in planning, development work, and quality improvements within the operation. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a meaningful and secure daily life for our users. As an assistant nurse with us, you are an important part of the work with continuous improvements, where even small changes in daily work can lead to significant improvements for both users and the work environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are:

• A trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title

It is meritorious if you have previous experience working in elderly care or other healthcare operations.

As a person, we believe you want to make a difference in people's daily lives and you have good collaboration skills in meeting with colleagues, users, and relatives. You are empathetic and have the ability to put yourself in others' perspectives, while communicating clearly and appropriately according to the situation and recipient. At the same time, you are structured in your working method with good ability to plan and keep timeframes.
