Job Description

We need to strengthen our teams in Skellefteå with more experienced and creative employees. Do you have experience in mechanical or piping & civil construction? Are you ready to share your expertise? In return, we promise you an innovative arena where you collaborate with like-minded colleagues.

Here, you will work on a variety of projects, which we believe will provide you with highly inspiring and varied work. Most projects are carried out in-house, but we also have projects where you work on-site with clients. In addition to your assignments, we focus on networking and creating a pleasant atmosphere through social and competence-building activities, such as group lunches and shared breakfasts. Collaborating and interacting with other business areas at AFRY is second nature to us.

As a Piping & Civil Construction Engineer here, you will work on everything from idea and concept development to delivering finished installations to our customers.

Qualifications

We believe you are a person who thrives in collaboration with others and who enjoys taking responsibility – both technically and in the relationship with the client.

We would like you to have:

• University or college education in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in Piping & Plant Design, mechanical construction, or similar – preferably within the process industry
• Good knowledge of relevant standards and directives
• Experience working in various CAD environments
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Class B driver's license and flexibility for on-site client assignments

Meritorious

• Several years of experience in a similar role
• Experience as a project manager or lead engineer
• Established network of customers and suppliers in the region
