SCA Wood in Rundvik is undergoing a transformation focused on efficiency, structure, and more stable and predictable operations. We are now looking for an Interim Maintenance Manager who wants to take an active role in developing maintenance work, creating clear working methods, and strengthening collaboration with production in daily operations.

About the Role

The assignment starts as soon as possible and initially serves as an interim solution during a transition period. Concurrently, a recruitment process for a permanent Maintenance Manager position is underway, and you as the interim manager may also be considered for this permanent role.

As Maintenance Manager, you will be part of the sawmill's management team and report to the Sawmill Manager. You have overall responsibility for the maintenance organization, including personnel, working environment, and budget. The role involves close collaboration with production, where you contribute to clarity in planning, prioritization, and execution of maintenance measures.

You will step into a phase where the focus is on creating structure, developing working methods, and contributing to stable operations with high availability, safety, and long-term functionality.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for leading, monitoring, and developing maintenance work. Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Leading and developing preventive, planned, and corrective maintenance.
• Ensuring that working methods and routines function in practice.
• Working proactively to reduce unplanned stoppages and prevent faults.
• Creating close collaboration with production regarding planning, prioritization, and execution.
• Participating in daily and tactical meetings, as well as driving root cause analyses and improvement measures.
• Leading and developing the maintenance organization and ensuring the right competence and staffing.
• Coordinating external resources and suppliers.
• Responsible for budget, cost tracking, and analysis of stoppage causes and availability.
• Contributing to technical improvements and investments.
• Ensuring structure in spare parts management and documentation.
• Ensuring that work is carried out safely and in accordance with current requirements, including working environment and systematic fire protection work.

About the Business

SCA Wood is part of SCA, a forest industry company that develops and processes forest resources with a focus on a sustainable future. The operations in Rundvik are a sawmill with approximately 150 employees.

In this recruitment, SCA collaborates with Poolia. The assignment is an interim role, meaning you will be employed by Poolia and work as a consultant for SCA.
