Welcome to Valla Care and Nursing Home, a specialized residence with four wards located in central Örnsköldsvik.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our residents. Job responsibilities include, among other things, personal care, contact person duties, as well as social and physical activities together with our residents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant (undersköterska) or have other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We would appreciate it if you had further education in geriatrics and/or dementia, or a specialization in psychiatry. Experience working in care and nursing is an advantage.

It is important that you enjoy working with people, are flexible, and open to new ideas and working methods.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is an advantage.

Approximately 2,500 employees work in the Welfare Administration. During the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license plus a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency, or another ID document that strengthens proof of citizenship. For some positions, a certificate of no objection from the police's suspicion and criminal register is required. We particularly welcome knowledge of Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

Several positions in our municipality are classified for security, so a security clearance check may be conducted. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
