About the Role

Outpatient nephrology care involves the investigation, care, and treatment of complex cases of kidney disease. The unit consists of a home dialysis clinic, a self-dialysis clinic, a PD (Peritoneal Dialysis) clinic, and a kidney clinic, all of which collaborate closely and effectively. You will be part of our team at the home dialysis clinic, where kidney patients come to receive regular blood dialysis. Here, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and kitchen staff work as a tightly knit group. We also collaborate closely with dietitians, physiotherapists, and medical technicians. Key values that represent us are that we always keep the patients at the center and base our approach on the individual's ability for self-care. At the dialysis clinic, we usually establish a long-term care relationship with the patients.

We are now looking for two nurses to join our team! The positions are permanent, full-time, with a temporary placement at our Dialysis Clinic. Start date is by agreement.

Responsibilities

The work as a nurse is varied, involving both nursing care and medical-technical care during shifts. We have individual scheduling and currently work daytime hours, Monday to Friday, but this may change based on operational needs. Individual training takes place over eight weeks following an introduction program. Thereafter, regular follow-ups with the supervisor are scheduled during the first year of employment according to a set continuation program.

As a nurse with us, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, planning, and performing dialysis treatments
• Monitoring patients during dialysis treatment
• Administering medication
• Administrative tasks
• Patient care

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you:

• Have work experience from dialysis and kidney care
