About the Role

The Medical Clinic in Örnsköldsvik belongs to the Primary Healthcare Area North. As a Nursing Assistant at the Medical Clinic, you will work both independently and as part of a team together with doctors, nurses, medical podiatrists, and secretaries.

At the Medical Clinic, we take care of all patients belonging to the medical areas of Neurology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Gastroenterology. We also care for patients who need medical foot care through our podiatry specialist and work closely with the Diagnostic Center. Our workplace is characterized by teamwork where we help each other while working independently to drive the operations forward in the best way. We offer individually adapted onboarding.

We are now looking for a Nursing Assistant for our operations for a resource appointment on a full-time basis. The position involves daytime hours Monday to Friday with weekends and public holidays off. Start date from mid-August or as agreed.

Responsibilities

The tasks as a Nursing Assistant at the Medical Clinic mainly consist of receiving patients who come for blood sampling at our unit. The tasks are varied and include among other things:

• Taking venous blood samples, ECGs, and blood pressure measurements.
• Answering some telephone calls.
• Assisting doctors with paracentesis, lumbar punctures, and bone marrow biopsies.
• Varying between administrative tasks such as calling patients, assisting with register entry, checking invoices, and ordering supplies.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained Nursing Assistant.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience with venous blood sampling.
• Have experience with clinic work.
