Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for a special educator for Central Child and Student Health Services. This is a position for 1 person.
As a special educator with us, you work with monitoring the school attendance of children and students placed in foster homes by Ronneby Municipality. The work involves close collaboration with social services, foster homes, receiving schools, and other actors to ensure that every student has access to an equal education and the right support (SURF).
The position is independent and places high demands on structure, initiative, and collaboration skills.
A part of the role also involves participating in our development work towards early interventions together with principals and student health teams, for example, as a participant in one of our teams at schools and providing supervision to staff. It also includes some planning and implementation of overarching professional networks in the municipality.
Your main tasks include:
- Monitor and analyze school attendance and goal achievement for placed children and students.
- Lead and contribute to collaboration meetings.
- Ensure that appropriate pedagogical support measures are planned, implemented, and followed up.
- Document and provide feedback to relevant parties.
- Develop collaboration together with social services.
- Contribute knowledge from a school perspective.
- Report and follow up results in the respective committees.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Are trained as a special educator.
- Have experience working within the school system.
- Have good knowledge of regulatory documents and current research in the special educational field.
- Have good knowledge of social services.

- Receptive and have good collaboration skills.
- Analytical and solution-focused.
- Communicative and confident in your professional role.
You have a genuine commitment to the development and learning of children and students, as well as an inclusive approach in your work. We are looking for you who want to make a difference for children and young people in particularly vulnerable life situations!

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-01 or as agreed.
