We are now looking for you, a rehabilitation assistant, to join our team at the rehabilitation unit.

The rehabilitation unit is part of the Social Services Administration. Our team currently includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We see ourselves as part of a larger team and collaborate closely with staff in care and support at the municipality's special housing, short-term housing, home healthcare, and home help services, as well as for individuals receiving support under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Together, we aim to provide care and support of high quality.

The position is a fixed-term assignment at 100%, or as agreed, with the possibility of extension.

Interviews are conducted continuously throughout the application period. Start date as agreed.

Location: Hede/Funäsdalen.

Job Responsibilities

As a rehabilitation assistant, you work under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or physiotherapist ( sjukgymnast) with the aim of working towards the individual's personally set goals based on their needs and conditions.

We work from a person-centered approach, increasing the focus on health promotion and preventive work. The role requires independence, where you structure and plan your workdays based on dialogue and planning with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, or physiotherapists.

Your work adopts a salutogenic approach with the individual user in focus. You strive to provide good and safe care throughout all stages of life and can identify and actively prevent health risks.

Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Educated rehabilitation assistant.
  • Category B driver's license.

To work in care for the elderly and adults with disabilities, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required.

Merits:
