When a water leak occurs in the middle of the night, a main fuse blows, or a fire alarm needs handling, there are no opening hours to adhere to. Someone must be ready to act.

We are now looking for a On-Call Technician to join Ocab's on-call team in northern Stockholm.

This is not a job for you if you want every day to look the same. This is a role for you who likes responsibility, problem-solving, and being the person who actually makes a difference when the situation demands it.

You step up when others cannot. You create security when things go wrong. And you ensure that people can return to their daily lives as quickly as possible.

About the Role

As an On-Call Technician, you work with building on-call services and emergency interventions in residential and commercial properties. You handle everything from technical issues and operational disruptions to acute events where quick decisions and calm action make a big difference.

Examples of tasks:

• Handle incoming on-call cases and emergency dispatches
• Replace main fuses and perform simpler building technical measures
• Perform troubleshooting and assessments of building technical problems
• Assist residents, property owners, and clients when unforeseen situations arise
• Collaborate with colleagues to find fast, safe, and sustainable solutions

Working Hours

The position is a full-time employment and involves on-call duties according to a rolling schedule where you work every other week and are off every other week.

During your working week, you are on call 24/7 and need to be able to be on site within one hour when a job comes in. The workload varies depending on the cases that arise – some days can be quieter while others involve multiple dispatches and a higher pace.

Person Profile

Who are you?

You likely have experience from the property industry, on-call operations, maintenance, technology, or other practical operations where you are used to taking responsibility and solving problems.

We are primarily looking for the right person.

You are the type who doesn't just stand and watch when something needs to be done. You take initiative, keep your head cool under pressure, and enjoy finding solutions where others see problems.

To succeed in the role, we believe you:

• Have experience with on-call, standby, property maintenance, or other operations where you are used to taking own responsibility and making decisions
• Are practical and solution-oriented
• Have an unpretentious approach
• Enjoy helping and interacting with people
• Keep calm even when the situation is stressful

Requirements: B-driver's license & Good Swedish in speech and writing

Other Information

• Start: Immediately according to agreement
• Working Hours: On-call duties every other week
• Location: You work from home and will primarily be prioritized for cases in Norrort (Northern Suburbs), we prefer that you live in Norrort.
