There is now an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer position within the company!

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is communicative and has a natural ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and build good relationships. You possess analytical skills combined with a solution-oriented attitude, allowing you to tackle challenges constructively. To succeed in this role, you work in a structured manner, take full responsibility for your areas of expertise, and have the drive to complete your tasks with high quality. As a person, you are service-oriented, results-driven, and have strong organizational skills that enable you to prioritize correctly and manage your time efficiently.

Responsibilities

You are the one who makes the technology work where it is used. You install new equipment, solve challenges when problems arise, and ensure everything functions as intended. You visit customers and work closely with them in their daily operations. You plan your own tasks and are responsible for tools, spare parts, and the structure of your workday. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and commissioning of laboratory equipment
  • Troubleshooting and on-site repair
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Documentation and follow-up in systems
  • Customer dialogue, representing Hamilton

Qualifications

You have technical understanding and experience working practically (hands-on) with equipment, installation, and troubleshooting. You are motivated by working independently and taking responsibility for both tasks and the customer experience. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has a technical education in areas such as electronics, automation, mechanics, or similar
  • Has experience in service, installation, and troubleshooting
  • Has good IT literacy and is accustomed to working with documentation and systems
  • Speaks fluent Swedish & English, and preferably an additional Nordic language
  • Has a valid driver's license
