Job Description

Making a difference for people while enjoying a work schedule that gives you more free time during the week. The Social Services Administration now offers a unique opportunity to work weekend shifts within several of our operations.

Weekend work is a specific form of employment aimed at strengthening staffing during weekends while simultaneously creating a sustainable distribution of resources in our operations.

You can apply for the position regardless of whether you are already employed within the municipality or if you currently work for another employer. If you are already employed by the municipality, there is an opportunity to take leave from your regular position to try out weekend work. The number of positions is limited and filled based on the needs of each respective operation.

The positions are within the Social Services Administration's operations, primarily within elderly care, Home Help Service, and LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities) activities.

Here, you are an important part of the operation and contribute every day to safety, independence, and quality of life for the people we serve.

The weekend work is regulated by a local agreement and entails:

• A full-time equivalent of 27 hours per week
• Working hours scheduled during the day and evening from Friday at 06:00 to Monday at 23:00
• Saturday and Sunday are always included in the schedule
• If a major holiday falls within these days, work is also included then
• Otherwise, laws and agreements for the current collective bargaining area apply

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for the position:

• Trained nursing assistant with a certificate from the Care and Welfare College or equivalent education.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Ability to document and communicate professionally.

The following are considered meritorious:

• Driver's license (required in some operations, e.g., Home Help Service)
• Experience working according to IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus)
