As an employee here, you are part of a small unit with engaged colleagues who actively share experiences and collaborate to achieve common goals. Together, we ensure stable operations through troubleshooting, optimization, and further development of Bolagsverket's Linux and automation platform.

We are in the middle of an exciting development phase where we continuously explore new technology to solve problems and build services that directly add value for our customers. Here, you become part of the IT production unit; we are approximately 50 employees working in teams.

Your responsibilities

You will work with the development, management, and further development of Bolagsverket's Linux platform. We work together on planning deployments, troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of the components within the product area. As an infrastructure developer, you will also participate in assignments and investigations, with tasks related to setting up/configuring technical environments.

You will also work closely with other internal roles, suppliers, and customers.

Our technology

Bolagsverket's virtualized environment is built on VMware, and the servers run on Suse Linux Enterprise Server and Windows Server. Our programming language is Java, and our scripting languages are Bash, Python, and Perl.

QUALIFICATIONS

We need you who are curious, structured, and analytical, and who has a strong interest in IT architecture. In addition to the ability to see the big picture, especially when it comes to troubleshooting and evaluating new technology, you enjoy variety in your work.

You thrive in collaboration with others and work systematically, taking initiative where you see it is needed. Furthermore, you are passionate about problem-solving, which helps you achieve results.

You also have

• a current academic degree in IT or other education or work experience that we assess as equivalent within the areas of systems technology and Linux/Unix application servers
• several years of experience and very good knowledge of Linux and server operations
• experience in integration and IT infrastructure

You can easily express yourself in both speech and writing in both Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge in any of the following areas

• larger complex IT environments.
• configuration tools such as Saltstack, Ansible, or similar
• automation solutions such as vRealize Automation
• container technologies such as Docker, Podman, or similar
• automation, virtualization, programming languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl
• AI from an infrastructure perspective
• infrastructure security
