RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you an experienced IT specialist with a focus on databases and want to contribute to increased social benefit? Do you want to help develop our PostgreSQL environment from an infrastructure perspective? We are now looking for you to join our IT department.

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include development, administration, and further development of Bolagsverket's database platforms. You will also participate in various assignments and investigations, with tasks related to the setup/configuration of technical environments.

Additionally, you will work with planning of deployments, troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of the components included in the product area.

As we face a system renewal, your work will involve working with new and exciting technical solutions.

The role involves the opportunity to familiarize yourself with and help shape our PostgreSQL environment for larger volumes, as well as ensuring that the environment meets Bolagsverket's very high security requirements.

Our technology

Bolagsverket's virtualized environment is built on VMware, and the servers are built on Suse Linux Enterprise Server and Windows Server. Our programming language is Java, and our scripting languages are Bash, Python, and Perl.

QUALIFICATIONS

We need you who are structured and can organize and plan your work well, while also being idea-rich and enjoying finding new improvement and approach methods. You have drive and a willingness to learn the area, seek opportunities for development, and stay updated within your specialist field.

In your role, it is important that you collaborate well with others and listen and communicate in a constructive way. You are also analytical, have good problem-solving skills, and take own initiatives where you see the need.

You also have:

• a current academic degree in IT or other education or work experience that we can assess as equivalent within the work area of databases
• approximately 5 years of experience within the database area
• ease of expression in both speech and writing in both Swedish and English

It is meritorious if you have education in and/or experience in any of the following areas:

• the database area in large complex environments
• PostgreSQL
• Oracle
• script programming
• Linux
• infrastructure security

It is also important that you have an interest in security as we work extensively to ensure that our environment meets Bolagsverket's very high security requirements.

Working hours outside regular office hours occur.
