Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

About the Workplace

The Home Care service in Ystad Municipality consists of eight dedicated work groups that work every day to create security, independence, and quality of life for our users. One of these groups is Briggens Home Care.

Based at Bellevuehemmet, the employees provide support and care to users with needs for somatic nursing care in the western urban area of Ystad. To get between users, staff use bicycles, which contributes to both good accessibility and a sustainable way of working.

Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a dedicated assistant nurse who wants to work during daytime hours and contribute to a secure and meaningful everyday life for our users.

With us, you work in the user's own home where you provide care, support, and nursing based on assistance decisions and individual implementation plans. You will have an important and responsible role, where the assignment as a fixed care contact gives you the opportunity to create continuity, security, and good relationships.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Personal care and hygiene.
• Social support, companionship, and conversation.
• Medication management.
• Cleaning.
• Accompanying to activities outside the home.
• Other interventions that contribute to increased quality of life.

The work involves both working alone and heavy lifting, but you become part of a dedicated team where collaboration and support are second nature.

Qualifications and Merits

To be qualified for the position, the following are required:

• You are a trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title.
• You master Swedish in speech and writing (at least passing basic Swedish from primary school Grade 9 or SFI D).
• Cycling proficiency.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in care work.

Employment Terms

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-31. Start date by agreement.
Working hours: Daytime. Daytime with duty every other weekend.
