Our Employment Offer

Our clinic has three wards and a neurology outpatient clinic that are now in an expansion phase. We need you for our continued development. On the clinic's wards, care is provided to patients who have had a stroke or have neurological diseases requiring investigation, treatment, and team assessment. Within our operations, we provide day care, monitoring care, and are responsible for the hospital's stroke alarm chain.

Job Description

You will start your introduction with us by working in a care team. There, you are responsible for basic nursing care, you learn to work in a team, and you check consciousness, breathing, circulation, and neurological function, among other things. With experience and after discussion with the ward manager, you will develop in your role on the ward you have chosen. The introduction ladder is individually adapted, and you are not "thrown" into anything you are not comfortable with.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Experience in emergency care and/or neurology is meritorious. Experience in respiratory care and/or intensive care is also meritorious.

About the Department

Neurology is a department area comprising the Neurology Clinic, Stroke Section, and Speech Therapy Clinic. We have a comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care operation where we care for patients with, for example, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, MS, ALS, stroke, and TIA. We have the largest number of stroke patients in the entire country.
