Physiotherapist for a shared position at clinic/home rehabilitation at Rehab City Östermalm

We are looking for a physiotherapist for a permanent position at our clinic in Östermalm.

Rehab City is a business unit within SLSO (Stockholm County Council). We consist of approximately 85 employees across three different clinics and provide primary care rehabilitation.

At our clinic in Östermalm, 26 people work, of whom 11 are physiotherapists.

Job Responsibilities:

As a licensed physiotherapist in primary care, you will meet patients of all ages with various diagnoses and disabilities.

You will work at the clinic and within home rehabilitation. The work consists of assessment and treatment of patients both individually, in teams, and in groups. Within home rehab, you will work with functional assessments, prescription of assistive devices, and training in patients' homes and immediate surroundings. We walk or cycle to our home visits. When working in a patient's home, you must be comfortable being in environments with fur-bearing animals and not be sensitive to smoke smells.

Mentoring students is part of the assignment.

Who are you?

You may have experience with and curiosity about the breadth of primary care assignments. You are a licensed physiotherapist who has a genuine interest in rehabilitation, enjoys close collaboration with colleagues, and contributes to improvement work and trying new solutions for modern healthcare.

If you have education in OMT, acupuncture, neurology, mental health, or cardiac rehabilitation, these are competencies we value particularly highly.

Experience from primary care is meritorious.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council:

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Requires, in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
