We are now looking for an Information Security Engineer for a technologically advanced operation within the defense and security sector.

In this role, you will have a central function in ensuring that systems and solutions meet high demands for information security throughout the entire development process. You will work closely with system architects, designers, and development teams, contributing to critical security decisions from early concept phases through to final implementation.

You will become part of an operation where robustness, security, and reliability are crucial for developing business-critical systems in complex environments.

As an Information Security Engineer, you will:

• Identify and analyze information security requirements for systems and operational environments.
• Translate security requirements into clear and actionable system requirements.
• Define security architecture and security principles for systems and platforms.
• Review, evaluate, and verify security functions in various subsystems.
• Support development teams in the implementation of secure design solutions.
• Act as a technical representative in the field of information security towards customers and authorities.
• Participate in security-related analyses and contribute to compliance with regulatory requirements.

You have a systems perspective and a strong interest in information security, as well as how security contributes to robust and resilient systems.

• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance check.

• Experience in system development, systems engineering, or system architecture.
• Experience with information security in security-critical or regulatorily driven environments.
• Experience working with Swedish defense authorities.
• Experience from defense, aviation, or other operations with high demands for security and reliability.
• Experience with security architecture, security requirements, or security analyses.

• Security clearance: The role is subject to security requirements and assumes that the candidate can undergo and pass a security clearance check according to current regulations.
