Description
We are currently seeking a childcare assistant interested in working at "Nattis" (Night Care). The work is based on providing care for children placed at Nattis during inconvenient working hours. The facilities for Nattis are located at Pepparmyntan Preschool and have a quiet setting right next to the park area between Hornaryd and Gröndal. Children from all over Värnamo Municipality come to Nattis.
The goal of our work is for the children to feel safe, trust us, and find joy in our care. We aim to establish good contact with guardians so they feel secure leaving their children with us. We work to contribute to a positive atmosphere that permeates the entire operation.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities are supervision and care of the children placed at Nattis, in addition to regular preschool and after-school care. This also means providing these children with opportunities for meaningful activities through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Administrative tasks are also included. Working hours are late afternoon, evenings, irregular weekends, and overnight shifts.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with childcare education and experience, as well as an interest in working with children and young people aged 1–12. You have a professional attitude and approach towards children, guardians, and colleagues. Maintaining good relationships is second nature to you. You accept the challenges that come with the work, are responsible, and take initiative. You are solution-focused and see opportunities in the task. You are flexible, have good teamwork skills, and contribute to a positive work climate. You have the ability to adapt and meet the day in ways other than originally planned. You need to have basic computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability and look forward to your application.

Our department is responsible for preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adult education, and arts schools in the municipality.
