Seeking an assistant for a permanent 100% position.

About the client:
A man in adulthood living in a villa in Kiruna with his parents. He requires 24/7 assistance with the help of two persons. Communication requires time to get to know him, as he has difficulties expressing himself verbally. You, as the assistant, need to be able to read his cues.

He needs help with everything from personal hygiene to household chores. When the weather permits, he enjoys being outdoors and taking walks using an electric wheelchair, which you as the assistant will operate. A manual wheelchair is used indoors. Assistive devices are available to make your work easier and increase the client's safety, including a manual lift and a stairlift.

Qualifications and preferences:
We prefer that you have experience handling seizures, or that you are not afraid to learn how to handle the seizures the client experiences due to his epilepsy.

It is also desirable that you have a driver's license, as the client has an adapted car that can be used for work purposes, but a license is not a requirement.

Dogs may visit the client's home, so you must not be allergic to dogs.

About the position:
The position is a permanent 100% role. You must be able to work varied shifts, including daytime, afternoon/weekends, and potentially nights (though night shifts are not initially available).

Other:
God Assistans cares for its assistants, has a collective agreement, and offers a wellness allowance of up to 4,000 SEK/year.

In accordance with God Assistans policy, we require criminal record extracts from ALL employees.

We will require a copy of your passport (Sweden), residence permit (EU), or residence and work permit/LMA card (non-EU).
