With approximately 1,200 students, Lerum Upper Secondary School is an attractive and popular school with a strong value base focusing on safety, attendance, and challenges. The school is characterized by breadth and specialization. We have nine national programs, special upper secondary education, and the Introduction Programme (IM), divided into five school units each led by a principal. The school also has an administrative director and an operations director for coordination. Teachers are organized in work teams around students in the different programs. The upper secondary school is located in a fantastic environment, with a green park area, right next to the Säveån river, just a few minutes' walk from Lerum center and the train station.

Job Description
We are looking for you who are a secure and creative teacher for the Introduction Programme (IM), where you will have your workplace and affiliation. In addition to teaching your subjects, you will lead study sessions and participate in our two-teacher system where you are present during other teachers' lessons to support students. You work closely with your work team on IM and are also part of a subject group that meets regularly for knowledge exchange. At IM, observations and pedagogical discussions are a natural part of teaching development.
The role also includes shared mentorship for a class together with one of your closest colleagues. Mentorship is a major part of the work at IM, involving close communication with mentor students, guardians, student health services, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher. We place special emphasis on your didactic competence and active work with adaptations in learning environments, as well as experience with students in need of support.
It is important that you are a team player who, together with your colleagues in the work team, works to ensure that students reach as far as possible in their knowledge and life development. Your mentorship is characterized by a great commitment to the whole person, and you understand the value of active mentorship in contact with the student and guardians.
You see collaboration with other teachers and student health services as a natural prerequisite for developing your teaching to meet students' needs. You value your own learning and development together with others.

- 10th percentile: 44,540 SEK
- Median: 47,250 SEK
- 90th percentile: 49,490 SEK
