Welcome to us at the Employment Unit!

The Employment Unit is part of the Growth Administration in Lindesberg Municipality. Part of our mission is to strengthen skills supply in the municipality. Our efforts are designed for our residents, businesses, and other municipal operations. We work with inclusion and better quality of life for everyone who resides in Lindesberg Municipality.

One way we meet our mission is through our own operations: The Carpentry Shop, The Cleaning Team, The Recycling Center, and The Car Pool. Here we have both interns and employees under the BEA agreement (labor market policy measures). The participants primarily come from Social Assistance and the Public Employment Service and are often far from the labor market. The Employment Unit's operations exist to help these individuals move towards self-sufficiency. The unit includes case officers, work supervisors, administrators, and managers.

At the Employment Unit, case officers, work supervisors, administrators, and managers work together to create developmental and meaningful interventions for our participants. The participants come mainly from Social Assistance and the Public Employment Service and are at different stages on the path to self-sufficiency.

We are now looking for an engaged work supervisor who wants to support people on their way to work, studies, and self-sufficiency. We are looking for you who enjoy working closely with people and who want to combine supervision with active and practical work. You will plan, organize, and carry out various tasks together with participants in several operational areas. No day is like the other, and you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

We work to meet the needs of our participants while trying to create added value for other parts of the municipality through our interventions. This means that our operations may change or be replaced if participants and the municipality benefit more from other interventions.
