As a nurse assistant or care aide, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring our residents have a secure and meaningful life in their later years. We always start from the resident's wishes and own abilities, focusing on their well-being. As a nurse assistant/care aide, you are responsible for providing dignified and high-quality care and support based on the elderly person's individual needs.

Typical tasks may include assistance with personal care, medication administration, documentation, and serving meals.

About Granparken Nursing Home

Granparken is a cozy nursing home located in Kvisthamra, Norrtälje, with easy access to nature. 🌲💚 Granparken has 48 resident places distributed across 6 units. One unit specializes in dementia care, while the remaining five focus on general nursing care.

Each unit has common areas such as a kitchen, dining room, balconies, and a large common room where residents socialize, eat meals, watch TV, or enjoy a cup of coffee 🍰

In our lovely garden, we arrange events such as barbecue evenings and musical entertainment during the summer months 🎈🎺

Staff parking is available with charging station options. The city bus departs regularly every day from Granparken to Campus Roslagen and Norrtälje bus station.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We appreciate that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also be easy to collaborate with and flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is meritorious if you have a nurse assistant education (or equivalent) of at least 1350 credits.
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care and night work.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (criminal record extract). You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit.
