Are you a nurse with an interest in the neuropsychiatric field within child and adolescent psychiatry? BUP Neuropsychiatry Northeast is now seeking a fixed-term substitute position for a nurse at our clinic in Mörby/Danderyd. The work is during daytime hours.
BUP Neuropsychiatry is tasked with conducting neuropsychiatric assessments and offering pharmacological treatment for ADHD. At the clinic, doctors, psychologists, nurses, and medical secretaries collaborate to provide accessible, equitable, efficient, and patient-focused care in well-designed facilities near Danderyd (Mörby) Center.
BUP Stockholm Section Neuropsychiatry consists of 'En väg in' (One Way In), as well as five other neuropsychiatric clinics.
Job Responsibilities
As a nurse, your main responsibilities will be to follow up on medication and provide support with information and nursing interventions to patients and their guardians. You will collaborate closely with your nursing colleagues and the clinic's doctors. Collaboration with neighboring care providers and other actors within and outside your own organization is also an important part of the job.
You are part of an interprofessional team and have the opportunity to contribute to continuous development by participating in the organization's ongoing development work.
There is an opportunity for remote work with administrative tasks/distance contacts if the operations allow, corresponding to approximately two days a week.
Qualifications
You must be a licensed nurse. Work experience from child psychiatry or pediatric care, and previous experience working with medication initiation/follow-ups of ADHD medication is meritorious.
Personal Qualities
You enjoy working independently and have a flexible and structured way of organizing your workday. You have good collaboration skills that facilitate your contact with patients and guardians as well as colleagues. You are keen on contributing to a good work environment and communicate easily both verbally and in writing. If you are interested in the digitization of care processes, this is meritorious. Employment Type

BUP Neuropsychiatry is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 in Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Services (SLSO), which is a healthcare provider within Region Stockholm. The position is filled subject to it not being needed for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Services:
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through the occupational health service before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
