Do you want a job where you truly make a difference – every day? As a Work Instructor at SAVO, you will have a daily routine that combines human interaction, creativity, and structure. You support people with disabilities in their workday so that they can grow, develop, and feel proud of what they do. In short: you make a difference – for real – while having fun at work. You will become an important part of the Social Services in Piteå Municipality, working for welfare, sustainable societal development, and a safe, inclusive society. Here, we work closely with residents, businesses, and associations, and you will quickly notice that your efforts are actually visible in people's daily lives.

Responsibilities

In this role, you guide participants in SAVO's operations in their work tasks, both individually and in groups. You are there as support for everything from structure and routines to motivation and self-confidence. At the same time, you ensure that the daily life at the workplace runs smoothly and maintains good quality.

• Guide and support people with disabilities in their daily work tasks
• Create clear routines, structure, and adaptations based on each participant's needs
• Follow up on goals, document, and collaborate with colleagues and other professions
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and motivating work environment
• Have ongoing dialogue with participants, colleagues, and partners
• Participate in the development of operations and contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement

Qualifications

We assume that you like people, everyday problem-solving, and are not afraid to try new ways when something doesn't quite work. You are calm, clear, and responsive, but can also be firm when necessary. You appreciate teamwork and thrive in a role where you both lead and support.

You should also have a few extra tools in your backpack. We require relevant education and experience with the target group, as well as knowledge or experience relevant to the position, such as industrial or packaging work. A habit of service and practical work that can be used by the operation is appreciated! If you have other experiences that fit here, please tell us about them – they could be a big plus, both for you and for us.

Permanent position, full-time. Fixed daytime schedule on weekdays.

Start date: 2026-08-10 or by agreement.

About the workplace

Social Services is one of the municipality's seven administrations. Our common mission is to create welfare and sustainable societal development. Together with the people of Piteå, business life, and associations, we are developing Piteå into an even better place to live, work, and thrive. The daily operation SAVO is a result unit, located in an industrial area in Öjebyn. Here, 6 work instructors work with approximately 50 people with decisions regarding daily activities/employment.
