We are now looking for an elevator technician for an exciting position at our unit in Gothenburg, who together with colleagues is responsible for the operation and maintenance of our approx. 270 elevators.

We are responsible for operation, supervision, maintenance, corrective maintenance, and customer service. Our properties are complex and technically challenging. With our specialist knowledge and understanding of our customers' conditions, we help create the prerequisites for life-saving care.

The unit in Gothenburg is responsible for Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Mölndal Hospital, Östra Hospital, and Högsbo Hospital. You will be part of a team of 5 people.

Job Responsibilities

You work primarily with operation monitoring and repairs. Furthermore, you also work with operation optimization and implementation of improvements in electrical and mechanical controls. In the role, you provide information and advice to the operations that the systems serve. The work includes service, repairs, troubleshooting, and programming in the installations, as well as being able to quickly find working solutions in case of acute stoppages. You also assist our technical property managers in their work with planning improvements to our elevator fleet.

The position involves daytime work with the possibility of on-call duty.

About you

We are looking for you who have education at the upper secondary level within electricity or mechanics, or alternatively another equivalent education. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and can communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A B driver's license is also a requirement for this position.

We would like you to have the ability to create good relationships, both internally and with our customers. As a person, you are calm, secure, and want to develop in your role. You are a true team player, which requires good cooperation skills, lack of pretension, and humility. You thrive and understand working in a large organization.

Furthermore, we consider it desirable if you have:

• a great interest in electrical and mechanical controls
• post-secondary or other education within technology, mechanics, or welding skills
• work experience as an elevator technician, door technician, or electrician
• support experience
