About the role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will work both operationally and preventively with maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of the machinery in production. The role involves both quickly addressing urgent faults and working long-term with planned improvements and maintenance tasks.

To succeed in this role, you need to have good knowledge of electricity and machine electronics. You must be able to read and understand electrical diagrams, troubleshoot machines, and have a good understanding of how electrical systems work. The work also involves performing repairs, replacing components, and working with electronic parts in the machine fleet. You do not need to be a certified electrician, but you should have an interest and understanding of electricity and mechanics.

It is an advantage if you master TIG welding, especially in stainless steel, as welding work occurs in production.

You work closely with colleagues in various roles, and your ability to communicate, collaborate, and simultaneously drive your work forward independently is crucial for the role.

The work involves shift work, with every other week during daytime hours (07:00-16:00) and every other week during evening hours (14:40-23:00).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of machines
• Planning and structuring of own tasks
• Development and improvement of machinery
• Replacement of machine parts and electronic components
• Interpretation of electrical diagrams and troubleshooting in machine electronics
• TIG welding in stainless steel
• Pick up materials and equipment when necessary (driver's license required)

We are looking for someone who has

• Long experience in production and maintenance
• Advantageous: experience from food production and hygiene competence
• Good electrical knowledge: reading electrical diagrams, understanding machine electronics, troubleshooting
• Experience in electronics or relevant education
• Good knowledge of TIG welding (stainless steel) is advantageous
• Good computer skills – advantageous with experience of MaintMaster or similar system
• Driver's license B
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
