About the role

About the position

As a Production Planner with us, you will have a broad responsibility where you work closely with both customers, production, and logistics. You ensure that customer needs are met through efficient production planning, good communication, and a proactive approach. Today, the role consists of approximately 50% production planning and 50% operational support in production. You will become a crucial link between the customer, production, and transport, and are expected to be flexible, solution-oriented, and technically interested. You will primarily work with one of our largest customers, but also be able to support and relieve colleagues in their work with other customers.

  • Receive customers' call-off plans via email and WebID and register them in the business system.
  • Plan and optimize production based on customer needs and the company's machine capacity.
  • Daily adjust production planning when customers' call-offs and conditions change.
  • Ensure that production delivers the right products at the right time.
  • Follow up on production together with operators and production staff.
  • Book external subcontracting services when needed, such as surface treatment, electro-galvanizing, or similar.
  • Plan and book transports to customers.
  • Handle packaging orders in customers' systems.
  • Maintain close and professional customer relationships.
  • Handle delivery issues, deviations, and to some extent complaints.
  • Work proactively to solve material shortages, production disruptions, and other production challenges.
  • Support production when needed, for example in packing, edge bending, or other production-related tasks.

We are looking for someone with a good technical understanding who enjoys having many contact surfaces. You are not afraid to pick up the phone, communicate with customers, or go out into production to solve problems together with operators.

Requirements and Merits

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

  • Have experience in production planning, logistics, order handling, or similar.
  • Have experience from manufacturing industry.
  • Have good technical understanding and easily grasp manufacturing processes.
  • Are structured and have good administrative skills.
  • Are solution-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have the ability to reprioritize when conditions change.
  • Are a team player who is happy to help colleagues when needed.
  • Communicate fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English.

It is an advantage if you have experience with business systems such as Monitor or similar ERP systems.
