Sidensjöskolan F-6 is now looking for a staff member for our after-school center. In your future workplace, you will work with experienced and certified colleagues and share responsibility for the after-school center's activities as well as complementing the primary school's mission.

The position is a fixed-term appointment starting in the autumn term of 2026 and running until June 30, 2027.

Responsibilities

Your task will be to lead and drive the pedagogical work in the after-school center together with other educators, based on the curriculum and other governing documents.

As an after-school educator, you will play an important role in daily operations, where, with a conscious approach, you enable children to discover and develop their abilities in a comprehensive way. An important part of the work is to ensure that all children are seen and feel that they have a clear place at the school and the after-school center.

You are responsible for providing children with a learning, challenging, meaningful, creative, and exciting play and learning environment. Together with your colleagues, you engage in a constantly evolving pedagogical dialogue with a desire to change, deepen, and develop.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with certification as an after-school educator, or a teacher with a focus on after-school care.

We would appreciate if you have previous experience working with children in groups. You have a positive attitude and an interest in developing working methods, as well as sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues.
