Höga Kusten Theoretical High School is an independent upper secondary school located in the heart of Örnsköldsvik, right by the harbor and close to the travel center with good transport connections. Since our founding in 2009, we have offered education within the Natural Science program, the Social Science program, and the Economics program.

Our school is characterized by high ambitions, a good study environment, and close collaboration between students and staff. Knowledge, education, scientific rigor, and engagement are central parts of our operations. About the position:

We are now looking for one or more teachers for our school for the academic year 2026/2027. The position is broad and may be adapted or split between two or more people depending on the applicant's subject combinations and qualifications.

We are primarily looking for you who have qualifications in one or more of the following subjects:

• Religious Education
• Philosophy
• Swedish as a Second Language
• Sociology
• Upper Secondary Thesis, especially within the Economics program or the Social Science program

The role may include teaching in subjects such as Religious Education 1 and 2, Philosophy 1, Swedish as a Second Language 1, 2, and 3, Sociology Level 1, as well as supervision of the upper secondary thesis. The teaching takes place on the Economics, Natural Science, and Social Science programs.

Since the position covers several subjects, we are open to different solutions. For the right person, it could become a larger position, but it could also be relevant to have a smaller position or a combination of several part-time positions. We are therefore interested in contacting applicants with different subject combinations.
