Welcome to Handens Primary Health Care Centre! We are growing and need to expand our staff with a part-time medical secretary.

Job Responsibilities

As a medical secretary here, you will become part of an engaged team. You will work with varied tasks including writing medical records in Take Care, KVÅ registration, handling referrals and waiting lists, as well as reception and cash register work as needed. You provide administrative service to therapists and contribute your professional competence where needed. The role involves personal responsibility and good opportunities for development based on interest and experience. The possibility of remote work a few days per week may potentially be offered.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

We are looking for you who are trained as a medical secretary. Experience with reception work is a positive asset. Good IT skills are an important prerequisite for the role.

As a person, you are flexible, unpretentious, and service-oriented. You have excellent teamwork skills while also thriving in working independently and taking responsibility for your tasks. You feel confident in patient interactions and actively contribute to a positive and professional work environment. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Employment Type and Start Date

The position is a part-time (hourly) employment. Start date is by agreement.

The position will be filled subject to it not being needed for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region (SLSO):

  • A background check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Requirements include, in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements apply as guidelines for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
