About Us

Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Care is a relatively small unit with approximately 130 employees. At the ENT clinic, nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, anaplastologists, dietitians, speech therapists, operating coordinators, and medical secretaries work in close collaboration.

ENT care is provided at all three hospitals of Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Outpatient clinics for planned and emergency care are located at Sahlgrenska and Östra hospitals. Inpatient care is located at Sahlgrenska, and day surgery is located at Mölndal and Östra hospitals. The work with us is highly varied, ranging from emergency handling of accidents to planned investigations and advanced surgery for patients of all age groups.

We have a flat hierarchy where everyone helps each other and shares knowledge for the best patient care. At our clinic, we work during daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

Job Description

Your main task is to assist at clinic visits in both emergency and planned care at Sahlgrenska Hospital, working together with doctors and nurses. Sampling, ECG, patient information, and bookings are also part of your work.

Independent clinics and assistance during outpatient surgeries may become relevant depending on qualifications and interest.

About You

You must be trained as an assistant nurse (undersköterska). If you have previous experience with clinic work and/or Ear, Nose, and Throat care, we consider this a merit.

You enjoy variety in your work and are confident in your professional role and in situations involving acutely ill patients. As a person, you value good treatment of both colleagues and patients.
