This means that more people will need meaningful, individualized activities that strengthen the path to work, studies, and self-sufficiency. The Employment Unit in Vänersborg plays a central role in implementing this in practice and is now seeking engaged and responsible employees who wish to contribute with structure, drive, and collaboration.

The Investigation Unit is now seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist who wants to contribute to increased quality, development, and accessibility in our interventions.

About the Employment Unit and the Investigation Unit

The Employment Unit in Vänersborg works with support and interventions for people who need to approach work or studies.

The operations are divided into three units: the Guidance Unit, the Establishment Unit, and the Investigation Unit. We collaborate closely with the Individual and Family Care services as well as the Swedish Public Employment Service.

The Investigation Unit offers several work training and work capacity assessment environments, including:

• Café and retail operations
• Second-hand store
• Textile sorting
• Carpentry and painting
• Upholstery
• Car and rug washing
• Furniture recycling

The Employment Unit (AME) and the Investigation Unit are in a continued phase of development and construction. As part of this, we are strengthening our operations by building a new team with several new employees. In this role, you will become an important part of a cross-professional context where we together develop high-quality work capacity assessments, educational operations, and sustainable working methods.

Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you will:

• Conduct work capacity assessments.
• Contribute occupational therapy expertise to the development and adaptation of our work operations.
• Work to increase accessibility and participation for participants with different prerequisites and challenges.

You will collaborate closely with supervisors, employment consultants, case managers, activity educators, health coaches, and existing occupational therapists. You will be part of a cross-professional team with a clear focus on operational development and quality.

Here, you will have the opportunity to influence both your own work and the continued development of the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a registered occupational therapist.
• Has good experience with documentation work.
• Thrives in an operation that is changing and developing, and appreciates creative space for operational development.
• Has a valid B-class driver's license.

You have an empathetic ability combined with a professional approach, create trusting relationships, and collaborate well with both colleagues and partners.

You have a salutogenic perspective, are receptive, and understand the importance of patience and respect in meetings with people.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who wants to be part of a work team where we support and strengthen each other in daily work.

Interviews will begin to be scheduled in early August.
