Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. About Habilitation
Habilitation is a specialist service for people of all ages with congenital or early-acquired disabilities. Our culture is characterized by openness, helpfulness, and a strong desire to constantly develop. We work both in teams and independently, always focusing on the individual's health and strengths.
Job Description
We are now looking for a registered psychologist for our adult habilitation unit in Ljungby. You will work with people over 18 years old who have congenital or early-acquired disabilities, such as autism, intellectual disability, multiple disabilities, and mobility impairments.
1 position(s).
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Investigation of intellectual disability
- Treatment work with individuals and groups, for example psychoeducation, daily conversations, support, and treatment
- Supervision and training of staff groups
You will become part of a psychology team and will also be part of a cross-professional team with other professional groups at the habilitation unit. We offer regular professional supervision and collegial meetings. An important part of patient work is team collaboration with other colleagues at the habilitation unit. We also collaborate extensively with healthcare partners and other societal actors, such as municipalities.
Qualifications and Merits
We are looking for you who are:
- Registered psychologist
- Holder of a B driving license (assignments take place throughout the county, so travel may occur)
- Curious, engaged, and willing to learn the working methods of habilitation
Meritorious:
- Experience working with people with disabilities
- Previous work within habilitation
You are a person who thrives in teams but also has the ability to work independently. You are relationship-building, responsible, and flexible. It is of great importance that you can structure your work independently.
