Job Description

The district nursing nursing organization consists of approximately 45 nurses organized into work teams based in the municipality's special housing facilities, with responsibility also for the associated home care area. These patient-responsible nurses work day, evening, and night shifts.

The work as a nurse in the municipality is free and stimulating, with good opportunities for professional development. Good relationships and participation are created in the meeting with patients and colleagues. Your patients are care recipients in the special housing facility as well as patients of all ages who are cared for in their homes.

As a nurse, you are a key person, and collaboration with and leadership of assistant nurses in your area is an important and natural part of your work. You also collaborate with primary care, the municipality's Rehabilitation Unit, and the unit manager at the special housing facility.

Qualifications

We are looking for a registered nurse with placement in the central part of Alvesta. We would prefer that you have previous experience working as a nurse in municipal district nursing. The work as a nurse in district nursing requires security in the professional role, independence, ability to collaborate, experience in leading care personnel within the Health and Social Care Act (HSL), and the ability to build good relationships. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driver's license is required.
