About the Role
As Payroll Manager, you hold overall responsibility for payroll processing for four units within Emballator. You own and drive the entire payroll process – from gathering and quality-assuring data to payroll calculations, disbursements, and reporting.
You work independently in this role, ensuring that salaries are handled correctly, efficiently, and in compliance with laws, collective agreements, and internal guidelines. The role comes with a clear mandate where you are responsible for payroll runs, finalizing salary payments, and reporting to authorities. You are also the system owner for the payroll system and drive the development and efficiency of processes.
You act as an expert support within the organization, assisting managers and employees with questions regarding salary, pensions, and regulations, while contributing to strengthening knowledge and compliance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the entire payroll process from start to finish
- Ensure accurate payroll calculations, processing, and disbursement
- Responsible for reporting to authorities as well as Fora and Collectum
- Manage onboarding and offboarding in relevant systems
- System owner for the payroll system (Kontek) and work within HR systems

You work in a structured manner and thrive in a role with clear deadlines and significant autonomy. At the same time, you are good at collaborating and communicating with managers and employees in an advisory and supportive capacity regarding salary-related matters.
You have a solution-oriented approach and take the initiative to develop and streamline processes within the payroll area. You have integrity and stand firm in your professional role even in situations requiring clarity and assertiveness.
